Ready to Race - How to get your MA license

Oyster Bay MCC is affiliated under Motorcycling NSW, our state controlling body, https://motorcycling.com.au , who in turn are affiliated and underwritten by Motorcycling Australia (MA).  For more information please see https://www.ma.org.au .

An MA riding license is required to enter and participate in any  Club, State or National event.

You can join the Club and apply for a race license through Ridernet by following the instructions on Motorcycling Australia's website;

Joining Process - Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au) 

Here are the basics;

- Create a Ridernet profile 

- Join the Club through Ridernet

- Apply for your license.  (Note special conditions apply for Juniors.)

If you need help with licencing enquiries and password resets for Ridernet please contact licences@ma.org.au or call 1800 262 678 between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Melbourne Time). 

Competition Rules

Note all motorcycle competition in Australia is conducted according to the General Competition Rules (GCR’s), which are contained in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS).
