MARTIN PRYKE MEMORIAL - POKER RUN 2026

SUNDAY 8 MARCH 2026

NOWRA DISTRICT MOTORCYCLE CLUB - BRAIDWOOD ROAD, YERRIYONG

ENTER POKER RUN

  • Announcing the inaugural Memorial Poker Run event honouring former Club President and dear friend Martin Pryke. 


We recognise Martin's outstanding contribution to OBMCC and its members, as well as the wider dirt bike community of NSW. 

Martin was a passionate rider, racer, coach, official and dedicated mentor to many. 


This social ride event is open to everyone from 9 years old on 65cc or 110cc 4 stroke bikes, juniors, ladies and seniors. 


All funds raised through entries and the raffle will be donated to Chris O'Brien Lifehouse in support of those impacted by cancer in all its forms. 


ENTRY FEES 

Adults - $65 per rider
Juniors aged 9-16 years - $45 


ABOUT THE EVENT

  • There will be multiple bush trail loops set out by experts – rated easy to challenging. It is not a race!
  • There will be plenty of club members and sweep riders to help you on the day so come along even if you've not taken part before.
  • Riders must be fully equipped with all safety gear - helmet, goggles, gloves, riding boots, chest/back armour, suitable long riding pants and jersey. 
  • All Events Medical Services first aid will be in attendance all day.
  • Profits from the event along with funds raised through our raffle will be donated to the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse .
  • Raffle prizes galore thanks to our amazing sponsors; Total Tools Minchinbury, Holeshot Graphics, Ballards Offroad, Teknik Suspension and Trooper Lu's Garage and the Offroad Institute thanks to Jess Gardiner


HOW TO ENTER 

Enter through Ridernet. Please note that Ridernet can present some challenges on some mobile platforms. 

We recommend you register and enter via a Laptop/Desktop PC only.

Note: Entries close 10pm Thursday 5th March.


FIRST TIMERS 

  • Once you are on the Ridernet site you will need to set up a profile. This gives MA all your details for registration and insurance purposes.
    Once your profile is set up, then go to Events, click NSW, then scroll down and register for the Enduro Poker Run on 8th March 2026.
  • The Come and Try permit is no longer available from MA/MNSW.  All riders must obtain a licence through Ridernet.  A One Event Recreational Licence for $33 is a minimum requirement.
  • You don't need to be an OBMCC member to join in this ride, but we welcome you to join as a member and come along to our other events on the 2026 calendar. Join OBMCC now  


PREVIOUS RIDERS 

  • If you already have a Ridernet profile from entering previous events you will need to enter under the Enduro Poker Run permit. Note this will require a One Event Recreational license costing $33, or you can apply for, or use your Annual MA license.

SCRUTINEERING 

Compulsory for all Bikes and Riders, and Sweeps:                 

Note: All riders, including sweeps, must have chest/back armour - mandatory new MA national rule for all events. Bring to Scrutineering.

  • Helmets must comply with official MA Memorandum of Motorcycling Sport (MoMS approved) - Bring to Scrutineering.
  • No camera mounts on helmets
  • Levers must have ball ends (no broken or cut off ends)
  • Handlebar mount pad required
  • Wheel and frame bearings must be in good condition (no play permitted)
  • Throttle must be self closing
  • Handlebar ends must be plugged 
  • Foot pegs must be spring returning 
  • Functioning front and rear brakes
  •  No goggle tear-offs permitted
  • All riders, including sweeps, must have chest/back armour - mandatory new MA national rule for all events. Bring to Scrutineering.


SCHEDULE - Sunday 8th March:

- 7.00am - Sign-on & Scrutineering 

- 8.45am -Riders Briefing

- 9.00am - First bikes away

- 1.30pm - last bikes out followed by sweep riders.

- 2.30pm - Raffle Draw


CAMPING

Sat. night camping is permitted on site, and will cost $20 per vehicle. Gates open from 12pm Sat 7th March. Camping fee to be paid to the Club Representative on site on the day. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SHOWER FACILITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SITE. 


FOOD 

Thanks to the Bomaderry Nowra Lions Club we will have breaky and lunch available at the track on Sunday 8 March:

 Breakfast - from 7am

  • Bacon & egg rolls - $7

Lunch - from 11am

  • Sausage sandwiches - $6
  • Steak sandwiches - $7
  • Lions special B&E roll with steak & onions - $9
  • Hot chips 
  • Cold drinks - $3 each

PLEASE NOTE

  • No pushbikes, No dogs, No alcohol, No smoking and No open footwear (all shoes must be enclosed) permitted in the pits at any time on Sunday.
  • No spectators are permitted anywhere on the course at any time.
  • No riding of other tracks at Nowra facility permitted at any time throughout the day.
  • Riding through the pits to be walking pace only.
