The Holeshot 300 - 5 Hour Pony Express Enduro

Confirming this event is on and will be run as per the below schedule.
Helpers required - course setting Saturday - sweep riding Sunday.
If you intend to ride, do not delay your entry. Should there be insufficient entries in any Class of Competition, the decision to run or cancel the Class, or to combine Classes and re-distribute any awards, will be at the discretion of the Oyster Bay MCC, subject to Motorcycling NSW approval.
This event is a 5 Hour Pony Express Enduro with an approx. 30 minute loop using OBMCC's marked course, utilising a large portion of the established tracks and trails of the Motoplex property. Suitable for intermediate to expert senior riders.
Enter with a partner as a team of two, or ride solo with an Ironman entry.
Trophies/Awards will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in Teams and Ironman classes, thanks to our major sponsor - Holeshot Graphics.
The event is open to Club Members only. One day club memberships are available on Ridernet for $10. (Note MNSW will not be accepting one day m'ships in 2025)
CLASSES OF COMPETITION:
Senior Pony Express
- Teams of 2 - All Powers
- Ironman - App Powers
Junior Cross Country
- J2 (12 - U15) 85cc 2/ & 150cc 4/
- J3 (13 - U15) 125cc-200cc 2/ & 200cc-250cc 4/
- J4 (15yrs) 125cc-200cc 2/ & 200cc-250cc 4/
A combined Junior (12-16 yrs ) Cross Country event will be run on a loop of approx. 20 minutes length. This will consist of 2 x 1hr cross-country races with a 1 hr break. Laps will be scored and position points given for result in each race then added together.
Entries
Seniors entry Fee - $60 per rider (includes transponder)
Juniors entry fee - $50 per rider

- Log into Ridernet. If you do not have a profile - you must create a profile.
- Join OBMCC on Ridernet ( Select One Day Membership - $10)
- If you need a Race Licence, you will need to purchase an MA Annual License or One Event Competition Licence (see license pricing on Ridernet).
- Search in Events for Holeshot Graphics 300.
- Read the Supp Regs and click Register to enter. Transponder is included in entry fee.
- If riding in a team of two please advise your partner's name.
- Entries close on Wed, 6th Nov if not filled and closed sooner.
Facilities
Camping is permitted on the Saturday night. There is no charge for camping however you must sign an indemnity immediately on arrival at the Sign-On tent.
Toilets are located on site. Generators must be off by 10pm Sat. night. Track Canteen will be open Saturday and Sunday.
Please remember to stay fully hydrated and parents must ensure junior riders have plenty to drink all day.
Note, Rider and Camper Sign-On will be open on Saturday from 2.30pm - 4.30pm.
Accredited First Aid will be in place during the event.
Track Set-Up - Volunteers required to help on Saturday please:
Erect spectator fencing, confirm track bunting and arrowing in the bush, mx track, return lanes, pit areas.
Conduct pre-ride and check all arrows and bunting.
Sweep Riders - Volunteers required please:
A minimum crew of 6 riders are required, with track ready bikes, to cover the race loops all day.
Please notify your availability in the week before the event. Two-way radio protocol and first aid experience are helpful.
Junior Event - Junior Parents will be asked to help with scoring and marshalling on the day. Junior parents will also be asked to help sweep the junior event, so Junior Dads please bring your bikes. Please confirm availability as above.

Event Permit Rules and Regulations
These are MA's rules and are NOT negotiable.
You enter the event and the property under these and any other advised conditions:
- No pushbikes - No E-bikes - No dogs - No smoking - No vaping.
- No open footwear or Crocs (all shoes must be enclosed).
- No alcohol permitted at any time in the pits or camping areas during race hours.
- No spectators permitted on any part of any race course at any time.
- No riding on other tracks or trails around Nowra Motoplex during the event.
- Riding through the pits must be limited to 1st gear idle speed / walking pace only.
- An approved motorcycle helmet must be worn by any person on any motorcycle at any time.
- An absorbent enviromat (min. 2m x 0.9m) must be used under the bike for all refuelling activities. (Avail. at Sign-On $15)
- A fire extinguisher of 2kg minimum size per rider is to be present at all refuelling locations.
- Riders Briefing attendance is compulsory.
NOTE:
Failure to comply with event rules or directions, or any challenge or abuse directed at Race Officials or Event Volunteers will result in immediate exclusion from the Event, without refund, and request to leave the property.
Scrutineering
Compulsory for all bikes and riders:
- Helmets must comply with MoMS (must be approved)
- No cameras or camera mounts on helmets
- Levers must have ball ends (no broken or cut off ends)
- Handlebar mount pad required
- Handlebar ends must be plugged
- Throttle must be self closing
- Foot pegs must be spring returning
- Junior riders must have chest/body armour
- No goggle tear-offs permitted
